Kavneet specializes in treatment of chronic pain from musculoskeletal conditions, visceral therapy and cranial osteopathy, concentrating her abilities in manual therapy mobilization and muscle energy techniques. Having graduated in 2009 with bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and master’s degree in physical therapy in 2012 during her time in India, her journey has seen her in variety of healthcare settings including multidisciplinary clinics to geriatric care.
She also worked in hospital for 4 years in India before she settled here in Canada. Kavneet manages to blend her background in physiotherapy with her abilities as Manual Osteopath creating a unique and individualized experience through her considerable knowledge of the field and particular skill set.
Having worked both in India and Canada, she has professional experience that she has developed from treating all ages of people and stages of life. She uses both effective, holistic approach for complex health issues and a local approach for isolated acute patient concerns, when needed.
She regularly uses specific home exercises to support the changes which occur from manual therapy during in clinic visits. Kavneet is comfortable treating babies, children, adults, athletes, and seniors, as well as providing prenatal and postnatal support.
Kavneet is passionate about aid work and travels annually to volunteer osteopathic care and education which spurred her to take additional coursework in alternative medicine. Apart from this Kavneet loves going to meditation camps and crafts classes.
