An adjustment is a highly skilled and specific movement usually applied by hand or instrument to the various joints of the spine and of the body. An adjustment’s goal is to restore proper movement, improve function and regulate the nervous system as a whole. There are many gentle techniques used regularly by chiropractors and adjusting methods are determined by a patient’s treatment goals and comfort level.

X-rays are taken only if needed in the diagnostic process. After the doctor has conducted a thorough case history and physical examination of the patient they will determine whether X-rays are needed in support of the diagnostic and treatment plan.

Prior to your first visit you will complete a confidential health history form. Your therapist will assess and create a treatment plan for you. Your therapist will review your health history and discuss any health concerns you may have. Your therapist will develop a treatment plan unique to you whether it is for relaxation, muscle soreness or any other specialized treatments.

At Back in Balance, our sincere intention is to provide the highest quality of care. Our highly trained team will determine a plan that will best serve you on your healing journey. If needed, supporting services may be recommended.

In addition to our qualified team of practitioners our front staff is here to support you through every step of your journey at Back in Balance.

Chiropractic care, massage therapy, osteopathy, naturopathic medicine and physiotherapy are typically covered by third party insurance companies. Refer to your employee health benefit plan in order to determine if coverage is available to you.

WEAK PERFORMANCE!

Your Nerve System is the ultimate sponge, soaking up all the experiences, sensations and stresses you encounter every day. Like a sponge, it can only absorb so much before it becomes over-saturated and spills stress into your body. The result… PAIN, SICKNESS and WEAK PERFORMANCE!

The best thing you can do to prevent Nerve System over saturation is to get checked by your Chiropractor regularly and adjusted when necessary. Adjustments gently “wring out” accumulated tension in your Nerve System before it has a chance to build up and affect your health negatively.

If you’re feeling super-soaked from the stress of life, bring your saturated nerves to the Chiropractor for some TLC. You’ll experience more energy, improved sleep and a better overall feeling of wellness if you do.
