Pooja is an orthopedic, musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapist who has been working in out-patient physiotherapy setting since the last 5 years.
After completing her bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from India she moved to Canada to pursue Masters in rehabilitation science with focus on chronic pain, from McGill University.
She uses various manual therapy techniques, PNF, McKenzie, Mulligan approach, Kinesio taping, acupuncture, dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and cupping techniques in her practice. She has been dedicated to improving the quality of life of those suffering from strains/sprains, tendinitis, bursitis, acute/chronic pain, nerve impingement, blocked milk ducts, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and post- operative conditions. She has a keen interest in continuing education and is looking forward to expand her scope of practice by doing rehabilitation/injury prevention in runners and functional movement systems.
In her spare time, she likes to keep active by biking, running. She is also a visual artist and sometimes does live painting in the community.
