Fall Back to Health with Dr. Michael Friedman, DC

Dear Patient,

I hope that you have been having a great summer.  With fall just around the corner, most of us are getting back into our regular routines and habits, including looking after our health and wellness.  To honour this transition, and to give you a bit of a boost, we are offering an exciting introduction back to health for you and your loved ones.

I am happy to announce that Discover Chiropractic Week will take place September 19-24, 2016. To discover if YOUR family and friends can be helped through Chiropractic, Cranial Adjusting or Laser Therapy, we will waive the initial fees (approx $190!) for all new patient services including consultation, examination and x-ray (if necessary).  They simply need to call in to reserve their appointment and mention Discover Week in order to take advantage of this phenomenal opportunity to improve upon their current state of health.  Additionally, in appreciation of you referring your loved ones to me, I would like to thank you with a complimentary treatment (adjustment or laser therapy) for every one of your referrals that starts care with me at Back in Balance.

To encourage your friends and family to find out how and why Chiropractic can work for them simply forward them a copy of the attached Health Pass; and since this is always a very popular event, we suggest that they reserve their appointment time as soon as possible, as space is limited.

Also, if it has been quite some time since we last saw you, feel free to take advantage of this great opportunity to get yourself back under chiropractic care and refer yourself as well! We will waive the $30.00 re-exam fee so that you can get back under care too!

Fix it vs. Heal it

A damaged lawn mower needs to be fixed. A torn pants hem may need some mending. Broken people, on the other hand, require healing… and there’s a significant distinction.

Fixing is within the realm of the conscious mind. You can actually assess the damage and make the appropriate repair from experience. And yes, there is some degree of ‘fixing’ in health care (i.e. stitching a cut, or casting a bone).  But the detailed work of making you whole again, happens after hours in the healing process – which is totally managed by a far superior subconscious handyman.

No doctor, physical therapist or chiropractor can heal you from the outside. We can only create an environment around you, supportive of the process. Healing is an inside job best left to the professional inside you.
