Spring in to Wellness, with Dr. Michael Friedman, DC

They say that laughter is the best medicine, but we think chiropractic is right up there as well, and Dr. Friedman would like to give you the opportunity to share both with those close to you.

In honour of Discover Chiropractic Week, Dr. Friedman will be performing his comedy routine at Absolute comedy on Tuesday April 5th, as part of a fundraiser for Live Work Play, with whom

Dr. Friedman regularly volunteers. This is a great local organization that aims to help the community welcome adults with intellectual disabilities to live work and play as valued citizens.
To discover if YOUR family, friends, neighbours or co-workers can be helped through Chiropractic and/or Cold Laser Therapy, we will waive the fees for all New Patient Services- consultation, examination and X-rays (if necessary). This represents a value of $190! In return, we would ask that they make a small donation ($10.00 minimum) to Live Work Play to be able to take advantage of this phenomenal opportunity to improve upon their current state of health.

Discover week will take place from March 14-19, during which time you will receive a complimentary treatment for each new patient referral that starts care. As a thank you for your referrals you will receive a pair of tickets to the fundraiser. Tickets are also available for purchase for $10 at Back in Balance.

As spring approaches, please take the time to think about the people you care about and encourage them to find out how and why Chiropractic and/or Cold Laser Therapy can work for them. Simply forward them a copy of the attached Health Pass and since this is always a very popular event, we request that you kindly ask your family, friends, and co-workers to reserve their appointment time as soon as possible as space is limited.

In health, wellness and humour,  Dr. Michael Friedman, DC

Get in Gear

When you turn your neck or twist your back does your spine snap, grind and ratchet like a bicycle chain stuck in mid gear? That grating noise could mean something’s out of alignment.

Your spine is made up of movable bones called vertebrae, each joined perfectly together like the links of a bicycle chain. If one or more of these joints become stuck and misaligned it can slowly wreak havoc on the mechanical integrity of your entire spine. The result – pain, stiffness and premature arthritic changes. Don’t neglect the noises. Abnormal grinding (crepitus) of spinal joints may indicate early degenerative joint disease.

Remember, unlike a bicycle chain, you can’t replace spinal ‘links’ when they get damaged. Get your spine tuned up by a Chiropractor who is thoroughly trained in restoring the normal mechanics of your spine, and protect yourself from premature wear and tear.
