Lorrie is a big believer in doing what you love for a living so that you never really work a day in your life. She has found her love in massage and likes to feel her enthusiasm for it shows!
As a mother of two Lorrie knows what it’s like to be busy in both body and mind. She recently returned to this career after taking a short hiatus to care for her young family and is eager to start caring for her community too. Lorrie is a graduate of CDI college and has been practicing massage since 2006.
She has treated people with chronic pain syndromes, pregnancy related discomfort, postural abnormalities, others with palliative care needs and so much more. Lorrie is so excited to be joining the team at Back in Balance, a team that values continuing education as much as she does.
Lorrie’s philosophy of practice is that it’s important to her that you feel secure and confident about your massage, whether it be your first experience or you are a massage veteran. Age, body size, gender, or level of fitness should not inhibit anyone from getting the proactive benefits of care. Massage is simply for everyone!
When not at Back in Balance you can find Lorrie with her nose in a good book, volunteering with our local scouts, hiking in the Gatineaus, or gardening (gardeners, she feels your pain).
