Physiotherapist: Deadline for application, August 31, 2018

We are looking for an upbeat, inquisitive and engaging Physiotherapist to help with an orthopedic caseload part or full-time. Located in a holistic multidisciplinary clinic in the heart of busy Westboro, our full service administrative staff, amazing patient base (health conscious families; no WSIB, no/limited MVA with insurance coordinator), quality-focused care (max 1-2 patients per hour), and private treatment rooms makes one-on-one patient care a dream.
Other clinical interest areas available to grow include complimenting established  women’s health (pelvic health rostering not needed, mentorship available), as well as concussion/ TBI caseload. Successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge or willingness to develop community networking skills including social media, allied healthcare and wellness relationships, and the ability to plan and carry treatment plans to completion.
Offering competitive compensation as an Independent Contractor. Possibility to transition to full-time hours as caseload fills. Weekday, evening, and Saturday clinic hours available; can work all or part. Other in-house allied healthcare (and referral sources) include Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, RMT’s, and Naturopathic Doctor.

•Licensed Physiotherapist & in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario; Rostered for Controlled Acts performed
•Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
•Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members
•Exceptional organizational and time management skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, French an asset); Open to using Electronic Management Records (provided)
•Exceptional patient education and interpersonal skills
•Varied experience with manual therapy and exercise prescription; alternative therapies/assessment techniques ideal (e.g. acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, neurological rehab, etc.) + continuing education may improve compensation rate
•Preferably a minimum of 1-3 years experience working in private practice. New grads may apply.
Required license or certification:
•College of Physiotherapists of Ontario; Rostered for Controlled Acts performed
